Plas-y-Nant owners Tony Phillips
and Tony Evans are keen bikers - so bike tours are particularly
welcome. We have plenty of space for secure bike parking, and
can provide sole-use of Plas-y-Nant if you take more than 10
rooms.
Snowdonia offers brilliant cycling
conditions - some serious mountain passes for the energetic
road tourer, extreme rugged terrain for the off-roader keen
to go up mountains, and some great forest tracks got those
of a more genteel persuasion !!
North Wales offers some of the finest
hill and mountain walking in the UK. A whole section of this
web site is devoted to the major walks in the Snowdon range,
the Glyders, the Carneddeau,
the Molwyns, the Moel
Hebog area and in the
valleys. Plas-y-Nant is conveniently located within the
Snowdonia National Park, making it a superb base for a walking
holiday or break.
Within 20 miles of Plas-y-Nant you
have a wide range of rivers and coasts suitable for kayaking
and other water based activity - from Llyn Cwellyn 1/2 a mile
along the road to the Menai Straits and the Irish Sea - you
are simply stuck for choice. Let Plas-y-Nant provide the relaxed
backdrop to your water sports holiday.
We have generous sized rooms in
the main house for you to use all day.
The Old Chapel offers 10m x 6m
area able to be arranged theatre or cabaret style.
We can provide flexible catering for your reception
in either formal or informal styles.
