Mountain Name Height OS Map/Grid Reference
Garnedd Uchaf 926m 3038ft 115/SH687669
The cross roads of the Carneddeau - to the south is Foel Grach, Llewelyn, Daffydd and Pen Yr Ole Wen; to the north is Foel Fras and Drum; and to the north-west Beras.  Also one of the "Welsh 3000ft" mountains - so quite busy.
Foel Grach 976m 3202ft 115/SH689659
Another "Welsh 3000ft" mountain, on the main ridge south of Garnedd Uchaf.
Yr Elen 962m 3156ft 115/SH674651
Yet another "Welsh 3000ft" mountain, just west of the main ridge and often done as an "out and back" - just to claim the peak.
Carnedd Llewelyn 1064m 3491ft 115/SH684644
The second highest peak in Wales, and another major crossroads in the Carneddeau - four ridges converge here, to the north Foel Grach, Garnedd Uchaf and Foel Fras, to the south are Daffydd and Pen yr Ole Wen, to the east Pen y Helga Du & Pen Llithrig-y-wrach, and to the west Yr Elen.
Carnedd Dafydd 1044m 3425ft 115/SH663631
Another "Welsh 3000ft" mountain on the ridge between Pen Yr Ole Wen to Carnedd Llewelyn. Also accessible along the spur from Bethesda
Pen yr Ole Wen 978m 3209ft 115/SH656619
A "Welsh 3000ft" mountain that needs some thought - the climb up south ridge from Ogwen Cottage is the shortest route and also the steepest.  The east ridge or one of the scrambles is less strenuous and much more fun.   The lake (Ffynmon Lloer) tucked out of sight behind the east ridge is worth a visit.
Pen yr Helga Du 833m 2733ft 115/SH698630
If you follow the ridge east from Carnedd Llewelyn, Pen yr Helga Du is a short scramble down to the col and another short scramble to the summit. You can descend to the Ogwen valley down a long broad grassy hillside.
Pen Llithrig-y-wrach 799m 2621ft 115/SH716623
Further east from Pen yr Helga Du this is the last summit on this ridge.
Creigiau Gleision 678m 2224ft 115/SH729615
A crag high above Llyn Cowlyd Reservoir.
