The Llanberis Track

Directions:- This is a wide track that virtually follows the Snowdon Mountain railway. Start from Victoria Hotel in Llanberis, follow Ceunant Mawr road up through the woods. Emerging, bear right and left at successive forks following the path above Hebron Station. Cross the railway near Halfway Station (refreshment hut with fine views). The path skirts Garnedd Ugain and is joined by the Snowdon Ranger path (from the right) and by Pig track ( from the left) at Bwlch Glas before reaching the summit. Over the last half mile the waters of Glaslyn and Lyn Lldaw are seen.

Plas-y-Nant comment:- Not a difficult walk – the railway is a bit of a novelty – or a distraction !!
